Contractors
The Senate Commerce Committee is scheduled to consider SB 1411, which would allow licensed contractors to practice architecture, engineering and surveying in certain cases. The meeting is in Senate Hearing Room 1 at 8:30 a.m.
Sick leave
The Senate Commerce Committee is scheduled to consider HB 2318, which would let workers use their sick leave to care for a sick child, parent or spouse. The meeting is in Senate Hearing Room 1 at 8:30 a.m.
Internet porn
The House Technology Committee is scheduled to consider HB 2289, which would prohibit sending obscene material over the Internet to a child. The meeting is in House Hearing Room 5 at 9 a.m.
