Here are some key events scheduled today at the Arizona State Capitol:

Prostitute HIV tests

The House Health Committee is scheduled to consider HB 2518, which would require people arrested for prostitution to take an HIV test. The meeting is in House Hearing Room 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Halfway homes

The House Health Committee is scheduled to consider HB 2610, which would set safety guidelines, including specific distances from schools, for residential halfway homes that help people transition from prison or drug programs into the general public. The meeting is in House Hearing Room 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Video surveillance

The House Commerce Committee is scheduled to consider HB 2470, which would require people to post a notice when using video surveillance in public. The meeting is in House Hearing Room 5 at 2 p.m.

Vets tax exemption
