You’ve made it through many years of school, starting from Elementary, Middle School, and now High School. You have all earned the right to call Nogales High School, the home of the Apaches, your own home. This new year could be the front door which opens to enable us to achieve and strive for the best.
I strongly encourage each of you to take time to explore and get involved in the numerous clubs we are proud to sponsor. You will find that there are always plenty of leadership and volunteer roles available. Whether you want to uphold the Honor Code, save the environment, advocate for change on campus, or make our student body aware of current issues, you can find an active and effective role through any organization sponsored by our own dedicated and caring teachers at Nogales High School.
The years in High School are times to make your own decisions. You might decide to go to every football game, or you might decide to sleep through them. One decision I hope you all will make is to become involved and collaborate with the many student organizations and sports at Nogales High School. You are now all Apaches, and you have unique skills to offer the student body at Nogales High School. Now is the time to decide how Nogales High School can develop your gifts, and how your skills can bring you into becoming a proud student of Nogales High School. For the seniors of the class of 2009, but especially for everyone in general, there is a time and place for departure, even when there is no certain place to go. Have a great year Apaches, and let’s make this year an unforgettable one! |
