CURRICULUM GUIDE

NHS follows stated mandated Arizona Standards as its basic curriculum. Each department has developed curriculum to include this. Standards are available in the library or from your curriculum leader.

FINAL EXAM

Final exams will be given by all teachers at the end of each semester. As determined by the Administration and Curriculum Leaders a copy of the exam must be submitted to the Administration in advance of finals. Final exam weight will be determined by Departments. Nevertheless, weight will not exceed 20% of total grade. Every student is required to take a Final Exam.

HOMEWORK POLICY

Each teacher is required to assign homework on a regular basis. Homework should be an integral part of a teaching unit through which students will practice what they have learned in class. TeachersÕ lesson plans will be checked to see that homework has been assigned and graded.
